Free Image to PNG Converter
Convert images to PNG with batch support, resize/crop tools, transparency controls, and optional optimization.
How pic2PNG Works
pic2PNG converts your images to PNG format directly in the browser. Drop one file or an entire batch, and your PNG files are ready in seconds. The converter accepts 10 input formats: PNG, JPG/JPEG, WebP, GIF, BMP, TIFF, AVIF, SVG, and ICO, with a maximum file size of 10 MB per image.
Getting started is straightforward. You can import images in several ways:
- From your device — use the file browser, drag and drop files onto the page, or paste an image from your clipboard
- From a URL — enter any public image link and pic2PNG will fetch it for you
- From cloud storage — import directly from Dropbox, Google Drive, or OneDrive
Once your files are loaded, choose your output settings, preview the results, and download individual PNGs or grab everything at once as a ZIP. The converter handles EXIF orientation automatically, so rotated photos from your phone will always come out the right way. Metadata is stripped from the output, keeping your files clean and your personal data private.

Edit Before Exporting
pic2PNG is more than a simple format converter. Built-in editing tools let you adjust your images before saving, so you do not need a separate editor for routine tasks.
Crop your images using free-form selection or lock to a 1:1 square ratio for profile pictures and thumbnails. The crop tool gives you a visual preview so you can frame the area you want before committing.
Resize images by width, height, exact dimensions, percentage, or common screen presets. An upscale toggle controls whether images smaller than the target size are scaled up or left at their original resolution. This is useful when you need consistent dimensions across a batch of images.
Transparency controls give you three options for handling alpha channels. Keep the existing transparency intact, fill transparent areas with white for a solid background, or make a specific color in the image transparent. This last option is particularly helpful for removing solid-color backgrounds from logos and icons.
